STUDENT HOME-SITE EDUCATION:

Cal Coast Academy provides Student Home-Site Education as an excellent alternative to classroom instruction. The curriculum and educational goals are custom-designed, accommodating the specific needs and wants of the families. Families seek this educational alternative for many reasons. Students who train for future professional status within sports or other activities have come to Cal Coast Academy to meet their educational requirements, scheduled to compliment their training schedules. Students who have had significant periods of absences from their currents schools have come to Cal Coast Academy to reestablish current status on lessons missed. Other families have chosen this option to facilitate their students' optimal focus and to establish learning paces best suited for them. Cal Coast Academy's Student Home-Site Education offers comprehensive education of the highest caliber, flexibility, and convenience. In addition to the 1:1 student/teacher ratio option, families also have the option of gathering one to four students at one home site, allowing for peer socialization. Another successful option is to daily rotate multiple instructors who teach subjects of their expertise. Whichever options families choose, all allow for student learning in the comfort and familiarity of a home environment. Perhaps the. most appealing aspect of Student Home-Site Education is the extraordinary rapport that is developed between students, parents, and the instructors. The students' educational needs are holistically met with open communication, collaboration, and an enthusiastic dedication for promoting the students' academic and social successes.

CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT:

Cal Coast Academy instructs high school students who are enrolled in one or more credit courses while concurrently enrolled in one or more credit courses through their primary schools. Cal Coast Academy customizes and tailors classes and schedules to meet students' needs, including credit requirements for specific subjects. Conveniently, odd and even days correspond with those of the local public schools, allowing for seamless transitions between schools. For credit courses completed outside of their local public schools, 30 units, maximum, may be acquired over the course of students' high school careers. Please note that prior to enrollment, Cal Coast Academy requires that students receive approval from their primary school's counselor.

Cal Coast Academy instructs K-12 students who are enrolled in one or more credit courses while concurrently enrolled in on-line courses. Cal Coast Academy customizes and tailors classes and schedules to meet students' needs, including credit requirements for specific subjects. On-line assistance is offered as tutorial sessions or as comprehensive classroom instruction, which follows the on-line lesson directives.

Cal Coast Academy assists college-enrolled students with their on-line, independent-study courses. Cal Coast Academy customizes and tailors classes and schedules to meet students' needs. As an official college testing/proctoring site, Cal Coast Academy has supported the successful achievements of multitudes of college students.
