From customized college preparatory education to our new fully equipped open-air classrooms, Cal Coast Academy embraces the value of adaptation for the good of our students. To help our community thrive during this incredibly dynamic and complex pandemic, Cal Coast Academy has replaced the traditional in-door learning model for an open-air learning environment.
Each of our fully equipped open-air classrooms are strategically placed around our school campus and feature a 50" computer monitor, white boards, individual desks placed 6 feet apart, Wi-Fi capabilities, LED lighting, and retractable walls for proper ventilation.
In addition to our avant-garde open-air classrooms, we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of our school community. With daily health checks of all faculty, staff, and students using a contactless temperature detection monitor with facial recognition for consistent and accurate tracking, nightly sanitizing, outdoor hand washing stations, and strictly enforced social distancing and mask wearing, we have no plan of letting down our guard now that the county has successfully transitioned off of the watch list.
Campus tours may be scheduled for any day, Monday - Friday, at 9:30 a.m. Reservations are required. Submittal of a student application is not necessary to tour our school.
We are committed to operating our school in a way that causes the least amount of disruption for our students and families. For that reason, we have adopted the outdoor classroom model.
Each of our open-air classrooms features retractable tent walls for proper ventilation and accommodates no more than 6 students to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Cal Coast Academy is responsibly and equitably providing students with the in-person education they need amidst this global pandemic.
